Grace V. Hebbel focuses her practice on complex litigation, with a concentration on Directors & Officers coverage issues, and has written on a variety of insurance coverage topics. Prior to joining SDV, Grace completed a clerkship with the Connecticut Judicial Branch where she provided legal research to trial level judges on pending matters and drafted memoranda of decisions.
While in law school, Grace was a teaching assistant for first year lawyering process courses focused on legal writing, counseling and alternative dispute resolution. She graduated with a certificate in tax studies, having been an intern in the University of Connecticut School of Law's Advanced Tax Clinic where she represented low income Connecticut residents facing actions by the Internal Revenue Service and the state Department of Revenue Services.
In addition to sitting on the firm's Diversity and Inclusion Committee, Grace is also a member of the Connecticut Bar Association's Diversity and Inclusion Committee and made the CBA's 2015 Pro Bono Honor Roll.
