Austin D. Moody began his career as a Summer Associate with SDV and currently focuses his practice on complex litigation, with a concentration in life insurance coverage matters.
In addition to serving as a Notes Editor for the Immigration Law Journal while in law school, Austin was an intake volunteer for the D.C. Employment Justice Center Worker Rights Clinic, as well as an intern with the Harrison Institute for Public Law helping public school districts procure healthy fresh food in compliance with federal, state and local regulations. He also interned with the Federal Immigration Appeals Clinic, helping immigrants seeking asylum, withholding of removal and protections under the Convention Against Torture.
Austin enjoys being outdoors trail running and hiking in his free time. A native of Marin County, California, Austin currently resides with his wife and dog in New Haven, Connecticut.
