Daniela Aguila came through SDV's Summer Associate Program, staying on as a Law Clerk and returning as an Associate following law school. Daniela was the recipient of several awards and scholarships while in law school, where she was President of the Latino Law Student Association and a member of the Public Interest Law Group as well as the International Human Rights Law Group.
Daniela is a passionate advocate for others. She served as a Bilingual Case Aide for the International Institute of Connecticut, providing services to undocumented and trafficked clients. Daniela was also a paralegal for the Medical-Legal Partnership Project at the Center for Child Advocacy, where she coordinated services for pediatric patients at the Primary Care Center at Yale-New Haven Hospital, as well as an intern conducting research in support of asylum claims for the UCONN Law Asylum and Human Rights Clinic .
In her spare time, Daniela enjoys traveling, salsa dancing and hiking. She currently resides in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
