Brian J. Clifford has almost a decade of experience in litigation, including insurance coverage, from depositions and discovery through mediations, trials, and appeals. He has represented clients on a broad range of matters, from advising on general liability and excess policies, to defending health care providers in medical malpractice actions, to trying cases involving complex constitutional and statutory issues.

In law school, Brian was the Senior Note Editor of the Western New England Law Review, and his Note, "Had Anything Been Wrong, We Should Certainly Have Heard": The Anonymous Jury in America, was published in 2010. Prior to attending law school, Brian taught English and Latin at a Catholic boarding school in Rhode Island. He was his school's Teacher of the Year in 2002 and was the winner of the English Speaking Union Scholarship to University of Oxford in the U.K. in 2004.

Brian and his wife currently reside in Weatogue, Connecticut, where he enjoys reading and spending time with the family dogs.
