Kimberly Ryan obtained her J.D. and worked as a civil litigation attorney in Massachusetts before deciding she preferred the administrative side of the law. She made the switch to paralegal, working at a Massachusetts firm defending law enforcement personnel in civil rights and disciplinary actions.
Kim has been with SDV since 2013 providing support on complex commercial and insurance litigation matters. She routinely conducts initial case review, prepares and reviews discovery material, and drafts pleadings and legal memoranda applying statutes and case law to relevant issues. Kim has extensive experience in document control and high volume document review and production, making her particularly adept at preparation for mediation, arbitration and trial.
Kim is the Director of Paralegal Services, overseeing paralegal workflow and coverage and training all new hires on matter related policies and procedures. She is also a Connecticut State Notary Public. Kim resides with her family in Prospect, Connecticut.
