Jonathan W. Chambers is a resident of SDV's Southeast Office, where he dedicates his practice to representing policyholders facing insurance coverage disputes. He is well-versed in the intricacies of insurance coverage law, having joined the firm with an extensive background in first-party insurance litigation involving causation of damage, cost/scope disputes, and duty to defend and indemnifications issues. He has represented homeowners, businesses, Homeowners Associations, and Condominium Associations in cases ranging from disagreements over the cost of repairs to complex issues concerning the availability of coverage and policy interpretation. His experience also includes representing healthcare professionals in proceedings before the Department of Health.
Jonathan has successfully resolved coverage disputes in both state and federal courts, as well as in mediation and arbitration. He graduated with his Juris Doctorate summa cum laude from Nova Southeastern University. He was a senior staff member of Nova Law Review and received accolades for his academic performance in the courses of Civil Procedure, Property, UCC Sales, and Clinical Family Law. Jonathan is also the recipient of the American Law Institute's Scholarship and Leadership graduation award.
