“Energy: Peace and Justice for All” — The Right of Access to Sustainable Energy for the Permanent Development of Countries
As an NGO with special consultative status at the UN Economic and Social Council, founded in 1963, the main purpose of this World Jurist Association (WJA) Congress is to integrate, as one of the resolutions of the Aruba Declaration, the consecration by consensus of a new universal Human Right: The Right of Access to Sustainable Energy to Facilitate Long Term Development. This ambitious project is integrated into the WJA’s fundamental objective: to fight for world peace through the Rule of Law, Pax Orbi Ex Jure. The theme of the congress is “Energy: Justice and Peace for All”, a critical theme throughout the world, including the Caribbean. Our international event will bring together judges, lawyers, governmental officers, academics, students and international law professionals from all over the world.
