Q: Where are you from? (born/grew up)
A. Waterbury, Connecticut. I still live there – although if you asked my 16-year-old self, that would be horrifying news!
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A. The opportunity to work on complex and interesting contractual interpretation issues with risk managers and brokers from around the country.
Q: What is your favorite part of being a part of the SDV team?
A. The collaborative environment. Everyone here is always willing to brainstorm with you and hash out tricky concepts and ideas.
Q: Greatest accomplishment?
A. Arguing before the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals. We didn’t win the appeal, but it was still an amazing experience.
Q: Do you have any hobbies outside of work?
A. I love to read books about history (mostly American but also medieval history) and play video games.
Q: Biggest pet peeve?
A. People who e-mail you and then ask, “did you see my e-mail?”
Q: If you could, what would you tell yourself in high school?
A. Don’t be afraid to accept yourself for who you really are inside.
Q: What are you most grateful for?
My supportive family. Without them, I would not be able to be as successful as I am.
Q: What do you do in your spare time?
I don’t have much spare time, but I do enjoy attending yoga classes and making jam!
