Courts Rule on Additional Insured Endorsements and Vicarious Liability

Greg Podolak and Jonathan Chambers recently co-authored an article published at the International Risk Management Institute entitled, “Courts Rule on Additional Insured Endorsements and Vicarious Liability”. The article details how some courts around the country have drifted away from ISO’s original and clear intent on its standard additional insured endorsement, accepting the insurer’s exceedingly narrow application of the AI endorsement. Specifically, Greg and Jon dissect the recent KNS Group, LLC case out of the Eleventh Circuit and how its reasoning is at odds with other decisions around the country.
